Footer presents at the bottom of the web page. It
is used to show the information about the
Privacy Policy, Copyright, Contact, and About us. Here we can also keep
links of some important topics like Blogs, Services, Products, and Forums.
These types of links increases the priority of keywords and you gain a link to
the page. This helps easy navigation to the users.
This helps the robots to crawl and index all the
pages without leaving any page. It attracts the visitors, when reading the whole
page might bore the users. It shows some categories when comes to the bottom of
the page.
Guidelines:
- Do not use the footer links, if the total number of links more than 100 in the page because it is considered as spam by the Google.
- Keep Links to important topics of your website and do not keep links to every page of your website.
